Political Ponerology – Book Review of the Pseudo Science of Pathological Leaders

They often become bullies, research shows, and perhaps society’s worst victims are those who have been wronged and want revenge. We know that revenge is a very strong psychological motivator. Victims who have actually been abused or who convince themselves that they have been abused, even though their own failings have brought them down, are perhaps the most dangerous of all in our society.

There is an interesting book on this subject, one you may want to read if you want to get a victim’s hateful rants and vindictive take on pathological behavior. The author makes the unbelievable and incoherent claim that four percent of the population is unable to discern right from wrong using their conscience because they don’t have one to begin with. In fact, the victim is a Polish gentleman who dealt with the NAZI government and then with Stalin after the war.

The victim in all his hateful fury came up with “theories” trying to present them as fact, that certain bloodlines of the elites contained the gene pool that allowed them to operate in society without conscience. Thus, giving them the advantage of guiltless life and actions, which is why they often rise to the top of society leaving broken dreams, destruction, rubble, and even death in their wake. This victim, she uses her alleged pseudoscience to persuade the reader of these findings.

Why did I bother to read this book? A person who considers himself a stranger to me after an online email conversation recommended it to me. The book goes into theories of evil and claims to be scientific, actually it is not, but it is very interesting: the name of the book is:

Political Ponerology: a science about the nature of evil adjusted to political ends. by Andrzej Lobaczewki – edited by Laura Knight-Jadczyk, New Leaf Distribution, (2007), pages 239, ISBN: 978-189-72442-58.

This book is thoroughly interesting, but it becomes a political success no better than Mein Koff in my opinion, as it attacks former US President George W. Bush. The author and particularly the publisher will not realize that Stalin was a communist and Hitler was a socialist when they attack the personal character of the US president. In fact, I felt sorry for the author that his life became a hateful mission of revenge to attack our leaders, but I was really taken aback by the evil and cunning nature of how this book used Lobaczewki’s work as a political hit.

Worse still, it is surprising that the publisher of this book does not dare criticize our current incumbent president, who is, by definition, a socialist-leaning thought leader. In fact, given President Bush’s low approval ratings toward the end of his second term, I have no doubt that the book was popular and revived Lebaczewki’s pseudoscience. The reality is that there is absolutely NO empirical evidence to back up the claims in this book, even though it claims to be scientific.

Did I enjoy this book? Yes, I thought it was comical in a way, as it reflected the sick mind of a tormented victim unable to accept her own evil thoughts, or the evil that had ruined her life experience. Therefore, he was a damaged and driven soul. But I do think this book is dangerous as it is the one that sparks the conspiracy theory.

Would I buy this book again? Oh, certainly not. Would you read it for free if it was available? Chapter II only, so please consider all this, and be careful what you read and why, and be wise enough to see the true motivation of such authors when they call foul.
