You’ll Need: Write a pre-shower story about the mom-to-be and baby, but leave nouns, verbs, and adjectives blank afterward.

Play the game: Without letting them see your story, ask the guest to write nouns, verbs, and adjectives in the order that the blanks appear in the story. Collect your papers and then read your story aloud using your words to fill in the blanks. The group chooses the best ones based on which version is the funniest.

You’ll need: A photo of each guest as a baby, and a piece of paper and pen for each guest to record their guesses. Specify in the invitation if you want the photo emailed ahead of time for you to print or if you need to bring your photo to the party.
