WoW Cataclysm 1-85 Leveling Guides – Why Get One?

The new expansion wow Cataclysm will be released soon. Get yourself a Cataclysm 1-85 leveling guide right now. Because?

I, like you, started playing this MMO called WoW with little to no knowledge of the amount of work that takes a lot of time to level up a character. I thought everything would be easy and smooth.

Well, I found that leveling up a wow character was pretty hard work. All the new areas you had to visit and search to level up, not knowing where to find the actual search mobs, these were the main blocking points for me. So instead of wondering like a newbie and ending up getting killed by stronger high level mobs, I started asking people for tips to ease the slow and painful process of leveling up. I mean why not? He didn’t want to waste time doing random things, he wanted to enjoy the feeling of wonder.

But some people got mad pretty quick and jumped on me and said I was a newbie. And what does that mean? That shut my mouth forever. My friends told me to quit the game and I thought I’d do just that.

One day I was chatting on YM with a friend online who played WoW like me. Asked:

“- Hi Frank, how did you level up from 32-40 so fast? Was online only 4 hours. (feeling angry and hopeless).

Well, one of my friends emailed me a simple text leveling guide and I put it to use..

Would you mind giving it to me too? Please…

My toon wasn’t level 32 yet, but was fighting quests in Thousand Needles (a quest zone in WoW). After several “please”s from me, my friend shared that guide for future use.

From then on, he gave me precise guides for each leveling range, with advice on which areas to choose for quests and which mobs to kill. I have never been happier.

I didn’t know much about talent points, but my friend who was leveling up a hunter told me that I should read their description and put some points into them. I ended up messing up my talent points, but I didn’t know it. Frank gave me extra gold to reset my talents and pick the right ones.

I managed to level up my warrior to level 60 and I was happy. Now all he had to do was get to Outland and level up some more. Now what? Where to go, which missions to choose, which mobs to kill? He was lost again. My friend got tired of me and helped me halfway.

I was lucky enough to join a guild and that helped me somewhat. They shared some tips on how to level up mining, since I hadn’t chosen any profession yet, and started making some gold, which wasn’t bad at all.

A guildmate named Lucian wrote in the guild chat that his level 73 warlock was the third toon he was leveling up, and he did it pretty quickly. He said that he was using Joana’s leveling guide. So I decided that I should buy it too. Back then Joana’s guide was all text with a few pictures and leveling was pretty smooth. I considered it a good investment.

But once the new expansion Wrath of the Lich King arrived, all hell broke loose. Now what?

My old guild was disbanded without any major reason and I ended up alone once more. I read a few things about the new expansion and its “benefits”. The leveling was decent, but I wasted a lot of time reading details about the new quests. Not to mention the fact that many players filled the new Northrend locations.

I found out about a “magic” plugin that could give me hints on where to find the quest mobs, quest items and whatnot. It’s called Quest Helper. I started using that and things got a little easier. I wasn’t completely satisfied, but that’s how I got to my first character at level 74 and finally level 80.

Since then I have leveled over ten (10) characters to level 80 and helped other people to do so as well.

I’m really looking forward to leveling my toon to 85, once the WoW Cataclysm expansion pack goes live. Do you want to discover my leveling secrets?
