Whole body vibration and a dog

The idea of shaking to build better blood and bone made sense with all the science and major authorities touting Vibra Phirm. The contraption arrived with a large yellow truck after being delayed from China. The neighbor who is a Delta mechanic helped, well actually put together what I later called an eyesore with minimal help from anyone else. The addresses were strange. A spring washer was called a spring mattress, and there was no part of it that looked like a mattress to anyone! The mechanic checked the parts, and it was done in 15 minutes.

Guess, The Dog, was in the garage during this assembly. When he was plugged in and oscillating/vibrating and resonating, he shivered and headed for the door groaning. It is not a usual experience for anyone in this household. So for three weeks during rain, cold or snow, he went outside for the 10 minutes when the machine vibrated or the backseat of the truck when it was too miserable for her. Could it be that he thinks a tsunami is coming? Animals can feel earthquakes, maybe?

The machine was returned and one person had lost seven pounds while another had gained two, so the physical results were satisfactory for the Chinese-made Vibra pHirm. Then, because the Solo Flex Whole Body Vibration was so much more versatile, it was ordered when the Vibra pHirm was brought back. The price is more affordable, more convenient for travel, and it has the same power/vibration/wattage/hertz specs. It doesn’t hurt that most of the parts were made in the USA. There is no assembly required, so the Delta mechanic stayed home and it was not necessary.

The comparison of vibrations for El Perro was different. His reaction to the Vibra pHirm was more upset than his reaction to the Solo Flex. She is eleven years old and has not agreed to me that this is a positive change in her life, or her future personal involvement in the use of this exercise machine. Solo Flex has a cute white puppy on the cover of the manual of her sitting on the platform/bench/step. The cute big dog that lives here won’t be sitting on the Solo Flex whole body vibration anytime soon. But there is not the tormenting sound of The Dog’s voice compared to Vibra pHirm. It may be that this exercise equipment is less noisy or more cushioned. As time goes on, perhaps The Dog will start to get comfortable with the vibe. As indeed was the case. If not, they will follow her without hesitation if there is ever a tsunami or earthquake in Atlanta.

After six months, The Dog likes to be petted while doing yoga positions in Solo Flex. My fingers are massaging her, which helps her arthritis and maybe her tumors.
