Life after death – We all want to know

Life after death. There would hardly be a human being who has ever lived who has not wondered about the possibility. In fact, there are many people who believe that they have lived past lives.

Those who have had what are commonly known as NDEs (Near Death Experiences) tell all sorts of stories about being drawn to the “white light” and being “called to the afterlife” by long dead relatives and friends.

The ancient Egyptians embalmed pharaohs and other important people and buried them in sarcophagi within burial chambers. Along with the corpse were items that it was believed the entombed person would find useful in the afterlife. Did they know something we still don’t?

All sorts of theories abound. Many have been popularized in movies like “Ghost,” “Flatliners,” and “The Sixth Sense.”

Of one thing we can be absolutely sure. We are here and the time is now. So it’s very important to make use of the time that we have because in the general scheme of things, that time is very short.

During my life, like everyone else, I have lost people who have been near and dear to me. On several occasions I believe I have received “instructions” from some of these people. You may have experienced the same thing.

I am not going to detail those incidents here because they are intensely personal. However, I was inspired to write about this concept of life, death, and the afterlife in a story I called “The Power of Choice.”

They say there are only two sure things in life: death and taxes. So when it is your turn to leave this earth, you must make sure that you do not regret what you achieved while you were here.

How sad it would be to die with regrets over unrealized potential.

Since “The Power of Choice” is too long to post here, even in parts, you may want to take advantage of it. You can do so through the resource box below.

From the hundreds of comments I have received from all over the world, I know that most of us wonder about our own mortality and the meaning of our lives. Therefore, I have made it available to anyone who might be interested. Learn how the man in the story remembered his life, his accomplishments, and his biggest regret. Thousands of others have done just that.
