Halloween Face Painting Ideas

Halloween is great fun for children of all ages and for adults too. here are some face painting ideas to get into the Halloween spirit.

Halloween Face Paint Idea 1: Pumpkin

A bright orange pumpkin painted on each cheek. Black paint used to paint eyes, nose and mouth. A light gray would be used to show the ridges of the gourd, as well as its outline.
An alternative would be to make a full face pumpkin with an orange face base (blend a darker orange shade over the cheekbones), black triangle shape over the eyes (extending above and below the eye area), a black nose and a big black mouth (they need to cover more than just the lips).

Halloween Face Paint Idea 2: Skull

A full face design. It has a white face as its base, large black ‘panda’ eyes, black and white vertical stripes on its lips (with the white stripes wider than the black ones), and a red thread down one side of its mouth (to indicate blood).

Halloween Face Paint Idea 3: Vampire

A full face design. A white base of the face, bright red lips, fangs protruding from each corner of the lower lip (the outline is light gray, the padding is white, and the tip is red to indicate some blood), the eyelids are of smoky gray color (up to and over eyebrows), eyebrow then exaggerated with black sweeping strokes.

Halloween Face Paint Idea 4: Bat

A full face design. A white face base, bat face painted on the forehead above the nose (it is black with light gray to the eyeballs and for some definition to the ears); the bat’s body is painted black on the nose and ends at the base of the nostrils (use different shades of black; the bat’s wings extend from the head and body and cover the eyes by curving toward the temple and down the outer part of the eye to the middle of the cheek (again use different shades of black and some thin strokes of dark gray to paint some definition on the wings); the lips are painted in dark gray with an exaggerated curl up at the the corners.
