Does fiber really work?

There are multiple colon cleansing supplements. I just finished my monthly natural fiber treatment. I like to try nutritional supplements, but I always limit my choice to those that contain only natural ingredients. There are many brands of fiber available on the market, including capsules and tablets. I used fiber packed in a clear plastic zipper bag, which is great because you can see how much of the product is left. In addition, the zipper prevents the seeds from spilling and keeps them fresh throughout the month. A spoon is included with the package, which makes measuring really easy. I decided to take fiber before breakfast and dinner, mixing it with a glass of warm water. However, I didn’t really like its consistency; it feels like gel and is a bit uncomfortable to swallow. I thought of some flavor combinations and somehow managed to drink it. At night I would add the seeds to my yogurt or frozen raspberries, which made everything taste a bit like jelly. In the morning I unfortunately had to drink the seeds with water, but the faster you drink this strange concoction, the easier it is to swallow. The longer you wait, the more the seeds will swell and thicken. However, after a few days I got used to both its consistency and taste.

I noticed that the fiber worked very well for me. It reduced my appetite which was the biggest plus because I didn’t need to snack between meals. Another thing I really liked was the fact that my skin looked better and for the first time in a long time I had no unwanted ‘surprises’ on my face and the ones I already had after previous detox treatments quickly disappeared.

The last month has been hard for me due to my family problems and as a result I have been skipping meals. I was worried that I might have the same digestion issues that I always have when things get stressful. Fortunately that didn’t happen because the fiber kept me regular.

I think it’s worth buying once or twice a year to improve colon health and detoxify the body. Let me add that taking fiber is compatible with the South Beach Diet.
