Sparing no expense in building the school, land was provided for its upkeep and the executors of Blundells established links between the best schools in the country, including Cambridge, Oxford, Balliol College and Sidney Sussex College, which remain to this day . The Tiverton Museum brings Mid Devon’s 18th and 19th century history to life, with lots of information on the history of Tiverton’s lace industry.
