3 Fun and Unique Grill Recipes to Try on Your Next BBQ Night

While most guests would be excited about the classic burgers, hot dogs, and steaks, they would surely be more excited to try something new off the grill. Trying new dishes on the grill not only adds variety to the food you serve, but also helps you improve your grill cooking skills:

Here are some unique grill recipes to try the next time you host a barbecue night:

one. BBQ Pizza with Mac and Cheese

What do you need:

  • 3 small boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 10-inch crust pizza

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked instant mac and cheese

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce

  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (any variety)

Grill one side of the pizza crust over medium heat until the edges are lightly browned. Set aside. Grill chicken breasts over medium high heat for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through. Reserve and let cool. In a medium bowl, combine the barbecue sauce and tomato sauce. When cool, shred the chicken breasts and add to the barbecue bowl and tomato sauce. Place the cooked mac and cheese on the broiled side of the pizza crust, then add a layer of shredded rotisserie chicken. Top with grated cheese. Grill over medium heat until toppings are heated through and cheese has melted.

two. Spaghetti style barbecue

What do you need:

For the sauce

  • 3 cups cooked spaghetti

  • 2 cups barbecue sauce

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup onion, minced

  • 3/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped

  • 1/2 cup cooking oil

  • 2 times. liquid smoke

  • 1 pinch of salt

For the pork roast

  • 1 whole pork shoulder

  • 2 cups barbecue marinade

  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup of salt

  • 1/2 cup of paprika

  • 2 times. seasoned salt

  • 2 times. celery salt

  • 2 times. black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

In a large bowl, combine the barbecue marinade, brown sugar, salt, paprika, seasoned salt, celery salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub the pork shoulder with the mixture evenly. Grill the pork shoulder over medium heat until cooked through. Let stand for at least 15 minutes. When done, chop or shred the pork shoulder and set aside. To make the sauce, combine the barbecue sauce, diced onion, chopped green bell pepper, cooking oil, liquid smoke, and salt in a large skillet and cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour sauce over cooked spaghetti and top with minced or shredded pork barbecue.

3. Grilled Chocolate Wraps

What do you need:

  • 4 flour tortillas

  • 4 chocolate bars of your choice

  • 8 teaspoons marshmallow fluff

  • 4 teaspoons unsalted butter

  • 4 pinches of sugar

Spread each flour tortilla with 2 tsp. of marshmallow fluff. Place a chocolate bar in the center of each tortilla and seal. Brush the outside of each tortilla with the butter and lightly sprinkle with sugar. Wrap tortillas individually in heavy-duty aluminum foil. Grill the wraps over medium heat for 3-5 minutes per side until the chocolate is melted. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before unwrapping and serving.
