And now, with the release of the new expansion for World of Warcraft Cataclysm, there are many new golden strategies, some easy and fun, some difficult and boring. I’ll give you some tips on how to make gold as a fisherman in the new Cataclysm expansion. If you haven’t heard of making gold as a fisherman before, it’s not uncommon, this gold making strategy is not that well known.

The Gold Guides have been talking about the potential of the fishing profession for quite some time so it’s amazing how it still has little competition and is still profitable but you shouldn’t worry about that all you should be worrying about is how to maximize their earnings from fishing.

Why should you choose fishing?

The reasons for this are really quite simple. The fishing profession is easy to master and quick to level up and of course there is a lot of gold you can make doing this. And unlike most other professions in World of Warcraft, fishing is 99% free, you only need to buy a rod for around 2 silver to start fishing. And another great thing about fishing is that it is a “paired profession” which means you can pair it with another profession to make more gold, the fishing paired profession is of course cooking.

There is something wrong with the cooking profession though, it doesn’t produce as much gold during lower levels, but makes up for it once you get to around 300. Once you reach this level, you’ll be able to make food. that gives people higher stats if they eat it, there is food for mana, strength, agility, intellect and basically everything people need to improve their character.

The best reason to choose fishing

My favorite part about fishing is that it is not even remotely competitive, if you find a fishing school you can almost always be sure that you will be the only one there and therefore you will not have to deal with other people stealing from you. fish, so your overall profits will be higher! I’m not quite sure why, but it seems that people genuinely dislike the fishing profession, and yet most of them haven’t even tried it. So if you’re looking for a good way to make gold in Cataclysm, I highly recommend fishing.
