Leveling up in Northrend will be the next hurdle every World of Warcraft player will have to overcome. With a whole new world available, it will be interesting to see how effective we will all be in it. While many of our community have already tried Northrend for the first time due to the beta server, many of us have not. That being said, it’s safe to expect some people to catapult to 80, having had some exposure to WOTLK, knowing the layout of Northrend, and yes, even the quests. Those who manage to level up from 70 to 80 quickly will find themselves alone in endgame type raids and reap all the rewards and leave many behind in the dust, while those who experience leveling up from 70 to 80 for the first time time will most likely have to get to level 80. The question on many people’s minds is: “How can I level 70-80 faster?”

The answer is pretty simple. Get yourself a Warcraft leveling guide or guides.

There were those people at the beta launch who were there to have fun and explore the new toys and equipment. Then there were those people who, for the good of all, designed the new quests, fought through the 10 levels from 70 to 80 to figure out what to do and help others in the quests of the new WOTLK expansion.

 

Four groups in particular have positioned themselves as leaders in the field of leveling guides and specifically in the field of WOTLK leveling guides. Leveling guides from Zygor Guides, iDemise, Joana’s World, and Brian Kopp are scheduled to go out with releases/updates for the expansion pack the day it hits shelves.

What does this mean for your 70-80 leveling?

 

This means that not only does he have someone on the inside who has gone through and provided notes on quests and the fastest ways to level up from 70 to 80, but he actually has multiple teams that have incorporated them into already successful leveling guides. .

All four guides are well established in the World of Warcraft community and have only cemented their places with the almost instant updates from WOTLK.

 

Leveling up in WOTLK will now be very easy for two groups of people:

1. Those who were exposed to the beta servers and know about the new Northrend area as well as the quests; and,

2. Those who get their own WOTLK leveling guide to level the playing field.

 

Unfortunately, those who don’t will eventually rise from 70 to 80, but perhaps weeks after the first wave of people they’ve already reached the magical level 80.

We’ll have to see how long the next 10 levels take to hit, but if the old 60-70 leveling is any indication; we are talking weeks if not months.
