Time is an interesting factor. Toyo needs to get through the day and save those in need. That is what a guardian does as a daily task. The white rabbit tells Toyo that he is late and that there are people who desperately need help.

The night is always present in the forest. Trees block all light and help predators with their hunting. A girl in a red cloak runs away from the wolf who has seen her in her territory. Toyo sees this and distracts the wolf long enough for the girl to flee to safety. The sidekick comes out the other end of the dirt road to help the hero. The wolf will have to find a different dinner tonight.

Meanwhile, a young woman is being enslaved to do her stepsister’s chores. She is also noble and shouldn’t be working this way. She wants to go to the annual function that takes place in the castle on the hill. Toyo’s guardians come around the corner and give the noble girl some beautiful white shoes that surely won’t break. Her magic also gives her a beautiful purple dress that will make her the most beautiful lady at the ball.

They roam the richest part of the city and scare all the nobles because they treat the less advantaged badly. In this part of the city they have benefits such as sunlight and sanitation.

Entering a darker part of town, they see a girl who is freezing from the cold and darkness. Her only request to her people is that they light her candle so her family can stay warm. Toyo brushes past her quickly enough to light her candle. She smiles, grateful that someone has provided her with a fire.

The young woman goes to the castle in a beautiful carriage pulled by a white horse. The white horse is a noble steed that is leading her to a happy future. She walks up the marble staircase with her dress billowing gracefully behind her. She meets the prince at the top of the stairs. The prince dances with her and spins her around; showing the young woman that she is the only one for him.

Toyo’s guardians are the heroes and no matter the conditions, they create happy endings. Whenever you need a miracle or a little help, your tires will always be there to guide you to safe and amazing destinations.

Time is an interesting concept. You never know when you will run out of time and when you will need more at any given moment.
