If you’ve read our other articles in this series, you already know that prime locations in the Thai capital are those that are in close proximity to Bangkok’s public transportation network, specifically the MRT, BTS, and Airport Rail Link.

Eastern Districts of Bangkok

Previous articles have focused on investment opportunities in the northern, southern and western districts of the city. In this article we look at three residential condominiums in eastern Bangkok that are definitely worth considering.

The real estate market in the eastern districts is dominated by Sukhumvit Street. This is also an area of ​​the city where many expats live and work. The property along Sukhumvit Highway is the most abundant, elaborate and international of any location in the capital. It goes without saying that buying condominiums in this part of the city is the preferred option for foreign investors.

Sukhumvit road is also an excellent option in the growing micro real estate market, especially in the popular areas of Asoke, Phrom Phong and Thonglor. If investing in a terraced house is your thing, then Udomsuk and Bang Na are the places to look.

The Sukhumvit Line

The Sukhumvit BTS route is the line most used by expatriates from Bangkok. The range of real estate options along this stretch is the most varied compared to other parts of the city. There are literally hundreds of great condominium buildings to choose from, especially since the eastern areas of the city are home to a total of 14 BTS stations ranging from Chit Lom to Bearing. Central East Bangkok

In the next part of this series we’ll stick with property on the east side of Bangkok, only this time looking at investment opportunities closer to the city center.
