Peter Griffin and three of his friends go to the local bar for karaoke night. To Peter’s surprise, the bar is relatively rundown. To make things work for a bit, Peter decides to perform Journey’s most famous song, “Don’t Stop Believing”. At first, his friends were hesitant to join, but after just a few lines, everyone was having a good time.

People start to crowd into the bar from the street to watch the performance. The crowd quickly pulls out their lighters and begins to sway back and forth in harmony. At the end of the performance, Peter and the rest of his friends were delighted that they had attracted so many people and that they were so pleased with their music, so he and his friends agreed to start a rock band. .

This episode is one of the all-time Family Guy classics for a couple of reasons:

1. Almost everyone likes the band Journey. His music really “hits home” to the average American worker struggling to get by. Even those who don’t like Journey are at least familiar with the band and their songs.

2. This follows the Family Guy formula. make fun of millions of people [Journey lovers, and those who sing karaoke at bars]and make subtly funny letters and gestures along the way.

The Family Guy Journey episode was definitely a must watch for all fans of the show. It will forever be remembered as one of the greatest animated TV shows of all time.
